Didier Depireux, PhD, is a leading expert in vestibular and inner ear science, bringing over 25 years of clinical research experience, with a specialized focus on computational neuroscience and the inner ear. He earned his PhD in Theoretical Physics, followed by postdoctoral research dedicated to the computational neuroscience of hearing.

Continuing his distinguished academic career, Didier served as a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he conducted research on the coding of speech in the midbrain and cortex, as well as the central effects of tinnitus. He also contributed to cutting-edge innovation at the University of Maryland Institute for Systems Research, where he developed a nanoparticle-mediated drug delivery system for the inner ear.

At Otolith Labs, Didier is responsible for core scientific research, translational design of clinical research, and collaboration for publications with the clinical team. His vestibular expertise and dedication are instrumental to Otolith’s research breakthroughs and clinical achievements.
