Otolith Labs Opens Strategic Bridge Financing Round, Led by Mark Cuban’s Firm: Radical Investments

The financing round invites well-qualified family offices and value-add venture funds to join an elite group of investors supporting Otolith’s submission for FDA and CE Mark approval and subsequent market launch.

Washington, D.C. (August 19, 2025) — Otolith Labs, a medical technology company developing the first vestibular therapeutic device for the treatment of chronic vertigo, has opened a $2 million bridge financing round. The raise is designed to accelerate near-term progress ahead of Otolith’s planned $15 million Series A Extension, expected to close later this year. To date, $400,000 in bridge financing is already committed, underscoring strong early interest. This round builds on the solid backing of existing investors, including Mark Cuban.

Otolith recently completed its pivotal trial, VIBRANT-VM, with positive data findings showing objective improvement to vestibular function and a reduction of motion sickness symptoms in vestibular migraine (VM) patients using the Otolith device in rotary chair tests. This new efficacy data, added to the technology’s excellent safety record, is now being prepared for submission as part of the De Novo request to the FDA in 2025, seeking marketing authorization in the United States. Interim funding in this $2 million bridge round is critical to maintain the high level of work, documentation, and momentum required to submit applications to the FDA and for the European CE Mark, while closing the planned $15 million capital raise.

The bridge round provides investors with an opportunity to participate through a convertible note structure, offering a 20% discount and creating a favorable entry point into Otolith’s pivotal phase of growth.

Mark Cuban, billionaire entrepreneur and vestibular patient, is leading the bridge round, having invested in Otolith via his Radical Investments firm. Mr. Cuban has previously invested in Otolith’s Seed round, which closed in 2021, after receiving FDA Breakthrough Device designation. “I have experienced first-hand the debilitating nature of vestibular issues and limited treatments. I am therefore extremely pleased that the FDA has recognized the potential for Otolith’s breakthrough technology,” said Mr. Cuban.

Otolith is excited to offer a favorable opportunity to family offices and well-qualified investors to join the round’s bridge phase, following the completion of Otolith’s pivotal study, reaching unprecedented milestones in the vestibular field. The new capital will be utilized to support critical operations, which will preserve momentum and value at Otolith. The extension round will advance strategic initiatives, including:

  • Regulatory submissions and guidance toward FDA and CE Mark approvals.
  • Technology transfer and market readiness of the device for scaled manufacturing.
  • Preliminary health economics and outcome study design to support reimbursement strategy and market adoption as confirmed by Payor Stakeholders.

“Securing this new financing is a defining step in our ability to deliver life-changing technology to patients,” said Sam Owen, Otolith Labs Founder and CEO. “We’re positioned to take our groundbreaking technology through the final stages of regulatory approval and prepare for commercial launch. The support from our current and future investors is instrumental in bringing this life-changing device to patients and clinicians.”
